Reckon its receding?

Hi all, Im sure 90% of this forums posts consist of gents in their mid 20s asking the same question. Having a look at this picture, does it look the start of a receding hairline or is it a mature one? I am on 5 minoxidil for my crown, which was thinning a bit, but has definitely improved...

When I pull my hair back I feel like its a lot of scalp. I'm probably neurotic at this point.

I was wondering. Unfortunately it's more white then grey, making it look a lot thinner under fluorescent light.

I'll definitely do that, thanks man. What I meant was, the crown area has been like that for the last 4 or so year without much change. But I agree It does look like its thinning. I guess I was shocked seeing this parting for the first time.

Its matured, but I don't think it's receding. I noticed that spot on my crown about 4 years ago and it hasn't gotten any bigger. Hoping its a cowlick of some kind.

I think so. Its definitely matured abit, but looking at older pictures its pretty much stayed like this for the past 3 or so years. Not sure if its a mature hairline, a widows peak, or just straight up receding.

I really appreciate you taking the time and having a look at it. My grandfather on my moms side was bald by early 20s. My dad had a full head of hair, but he grayed very young. Definitely got that going on.

Should I start taking finasteride? Hair always seems thinner under fluorescent light. Also not sure the grey hairs are helping much.
