This is in my opinion why hair transplants can be a bit of a trap. At the end of it all everything still boils down to that one drug finasteride and the hope that it will work long term without negatively affecting health.
Sounds, as ever, like nobody has the slightest clue. Needs mamy people to be doing regular systemic DHT/testosterone tests over a period of many months to know.
Is it fair to say that topical dutasteride still probably goes systemic over time, and that dutasteride has a higher risk of long lasting side effects than finasteride? Also a risk to other people if it rubs off.
Well maybe the test was done very recently? Certainly up until 2-3 weeks ago they hadn't tested for purity. And there were definitely already a couple of guys claiming side effects including gyno.
Also interested whether any results or sides. Had hopes for fluridil but last time I heard some of those guys using 7% reported gyno and they're not really doing their testing very well (no blood tests and hadn't tested even if the drug was pure yet).
Cheers. No rush. As I say, am just curious what the difference it made for you was..my donor density and hair calibre is too poor for any form of hair transplant.
