Well no one manufactures a topical. You can get it compounded but no pharmacist will know if that effects the expiry. https://www.longdom.org/open-access/a-new-topical-formulation-of-minoxidil-and-finasteride-improves-hair-growth-in-men-with-androgenetic-alopecia-2155-9554.1000253.pdf that study...
You can get more than 3 months of finasteride from a pharmacy, quite certain the manufacturer doesn't say it expires in 3 months. You can order avodart here if you are from Canada and have a scrip, $90 for 15g https://www.canadapharmacyonline.com/DrugInfo.aspx?name=Avodart2499
In any case, I'm going to try prescription topical finasteride + min and see if I either get sides or improved results. If nothing changes minoxidil max is probably legit
Avodart itself is only $6/gram, and generics around $1/gram, if you buy it from a pharmacy. So quite cheap, although minoxmax appears to be getting it for less than that, so perhaps chinese dutasteride. Also not sure where you are getting that it expires in 90 days.
Except they are already at phase 2... so between 4-8 years away. Although if phase 2 results are released, that will have the dosage and efficacy results needed to just use the research chemical, could be within 1-2 years.
I do 15 mins with derminator 2 at 25 Hz and 12 needles, assuming maybe 80% of the time on my head, for ~21,000 holes. Would be close to maybe 1400 holes/cm2, and my scalp isn't real messed up
Maybe it's dead, maybe it's not. The only thing we know for sure is no company cares about hype on forums. Maybe they release results when they plan to go for more vc funding
The holy grail is bloods like above, showing big hits in scalp dht and small decrease in serum (of course halting scalp dht must reduce serum). Then we know the dosage and vehicle are good
We should gather any bloods/discussions on formulation. See this post above - look like someone has had terrific results with topical dutasteride. I'm not having any sides on topical finasteride, trying oral to see if it's just that I'd get sides on neither, but would still be worth mixing in topical dutasteride. As I...
