    New Dermaroller Study; Thoughts, comments?

For what I have read the appearence of granulation tissue is a good sign. When a wound starts granulating it means that the body is starting to rebuild after the injury. This tissue may eventually scar over. This scar may fade over time, especially if the wound is small (in case of the...

I smoke some weed :) I use it only for therapeutic reasons, not recreational, I don't tolerate very good painkillers

LOL Karankaran, we all arrived (and agreed) to the same conclusion just a few pages back. There was almost a FWIII (forum war III) to agree on this :)

This is a most recent entry (summer 2013) about this particular hydrogel and by the university itself that is developing it. Min. 2 years to be in the market. http://eng.jhu.edu/wse/magazine-summer-13/print/healing-wonders-of-hydrogel

@PrincessRambo Thanks for your patience and explaining the difference between neo genesis and regeneration in an easy way for dummies. So basically what we can only expect from dermarolling + minoxidil is that existing but invisible hair might grow terminal. Well, that's at least enough for me...

    New Dermaroller Study; Thoughts, comments?

Ok, PrincessRambo thinks it's impossible that by dermarolling new hairs can be created by Neogenesis, and that this new hairs are most probably minitiaruzed hairs that are awakened by the delevery of growth factors (and others) post superficial wounding. But maybe it is just this reawakening...

State of the situation: Day 6 after dermarolling session 4th (1.0mm needles). Blue line highlight juvenile hairline, Pink line highlight receding hairline. Notice like some hairs are sprouting randomly in areas where I didn't have visible hair. Also, maybe it's difficult to see in this picture...

Squeegee, I would also like to know how many hardcore dermarolling sessions have you done so far, and what are your results so far in term of neogenesis. Thanks :)

That's quite interesting. I do indeed get more blood in the hairline and temples where there is no hair or is very thinn, than when I use the dermaroller in areas where I do still have a lot of hair.

I am afraid you may be right here, but why to do this? Even if Follica procedure is able to, in the best case scenario, recuperate a 100% of the hair that has been lost by neogenesis, theoretically this brand new hair will still be "attacked" by the hairloss process, therefore multiple...

I do actually believe is a combination of both. As we all know already in male pattern baldness alopecia you don't go bald from one day to the next like in other types of alopecias. It is an overall thinning process that in some people goes faster than in others. minoxidil not only works awakening hairs that are...

    Follica touts cure for baldness

What we need is an official date from Follica, or the results from these trials. Articles like this about Follica have been published before, I even remember there was a TV mini-reportage (with basically the same information) when Follica started years ago. At this moment I hate/love...

If you were using minoxidil and then you stopped using it, a lot of the thinning in your temple may actually be because of this. minoxidil is a "funny treatment" by itself, once you start you must stick to it for life. I was stupid enough to stop using minoxidil while trying another PLOF approach (AQ...

@Jaded - I have short-medium lenght hair (4-5 cm), and I don't pluck any hair when I dermaroll ?!?! (well ok, maybe 2). I clean the scalp with the water saline & betadine solution which wet the hair enough to allow me to use the dermaroller smoothly.

Hello all, First post, regular reader for years. I have been following this thread almost from the very beginning and I am also doing the dermarolling trial. > Background information: "From there I come from" Current situation: Age 31, Norwood.2 with some vertex hairloss. Several visible...
