Thanks for the replys! Maybe you guys are right and it's just the angle of the picture and possibly the length of the hair coupled with the direction it's growing out. I hope it is! Guess I just never noticed it before and it seemed to be in an odd place, so it was getting me really worried...
I'm 33 and probably have a NW3V pattern. Have been on Finasteride for about 2.5 years and started minoxidil about 2 months ago. I've recently noticed that there is a strange thinning on the sides of my head which I'm not sure is normal for male pattern baldness. I never noticed it before, but I guess it's possible...
Hello,
I started on generic Propecia a few weeks ago. I take 0.5 mg by splitting the pill in half. I have not really had much in way of side effects except one: I feel tightness in my testicles. It's not a pain or even an ache - Just a "taut" feeling. It sometimes makes it uncomfortable to sit...
I know everyone is not the same, but...While I was working out consistently for 8 years (up until i was 28ish) I lost little to no hair. I was very active. I quickly progressed to a NW3+ while not working out at all and having a worse diet/sleeping habits/stress. In my experience, exercise did...
Thank you both for your advice. If it's unlikely that any of my hairline will grow back on medication, I'll just accept that I'm balding and shave it off. It's not worth taking any risk to keep a small amount of thinning hair with an uneven hairline and I don't think I'll have the finances to...
Swoop, thank you for response. What stage do you think I'm at and how severe? I'm worried because I've been browsing the site and others whose hairlines appear much better off than mine are concerned.
Hi all,
I'm a 30 year old who has a receding hairline. I did not notice myself balding until i was about 29, but it's been happening very quickly. My brother and father were both bald when they were in their early 20's.
Not too long before I started losing my hair, I began to consistently have...
I've been looking through your thread and see a huge improvement! Even if you don't get to where you were in your "before" picture, I'm happy that you were able to turn it around in the right direction!
I agree with both posts. I think many men feel like they they have lost a part of their youth, or identity, when they're losing their hair. It's not always about appealing to the opposite sex. As someone that is losing their hair, I sure know it makes me feel unhappy when I look in the mirror.
