    does the foam still exist?

I've had the same difficultly lately as well. Had to go to 3-4 CVS's just to find one that had some in stock. I just think the drugstores/grocery stores are not re-stocking them promptly. Maybe demand is higher then they originally thought?

    bad news for me

it's funny. I have, in a way, the same problem. Where the hairs on my forehead and ears are growing thicker (not darker), while the hair on my head is stilll thinning! Even my barber buzzes the hair on my ears. (PS. I don't touch them, I think no one should touch them, unless it's with a...

    Loving the foam!

I find that the foam is more "liquidy" when it's warm in my room. I never had it turn to liquid straight from the can though. Maybe storing it in a cooler dryer place will help?

Thinning at back of head under swirl

I would say with 90% assurance that it's a part of male pattern baldness. Only thing that doesn't make me say it's 100% is that it's not uniform to your left side. But then again male pattern baldness is not uniform in the short-run.

    Temporary Surrender

I would say you have won a battle. Probably the best decision I ever made with the way I look was finally buzzing my hair very short 2 and a half years ago. Although I have not gone down to zero gaurd and buzzed my head, I've been getting hair cuts with 1-3 gaurds on top and 0 to 1 gaurds on...

[PICS]Should I shave it bald, I photoshopped it up

first off, are nice job on the photo shop (the frontal shot, the side shot makes you look like you mad bumps on your head.. just a photoshop critique.. lol) Looks good either way. Maybe try buzzing it a 1 on the sides and back then a 3 on the top... or a 0 on the sides and back then a 2 on the...

Intentionally pulling out my hairs... Anyone heard of this?

My ex-gf had the same problem. She went to a psychologist and psychiatrist, and with treatments from both, it slowly stopped her 'self-mutilation'. We broke up a few years ago, so I cannot tell you her progress to this day. Last time I checked with her, she was getting her doctorate in...

    Effexor XR and hair loss?

I've been taking Zoloft for 2 years now and I have not noticed any more considerable thinning or losing my hair as a result of it. I have heard many good things about Effexor.

15 years on Minoxidil, time to change ! - advise please !

Up it to 5% minoxidil. Don't touch the Propecia just yet. Wait at least 2-3 years before trying propecia after you switch to 5% and don't see any improvement or maintence.

Does prolonged computer use promote hairloss?

I think jobs with more stress cause a higher incidence of hairloss. It's not so much hair loss but more physical aging. I notice this with college as well. As I see my friends that never went to college and my friends that have gone through 4 years of college, the ones that have gone through...

After some reading and your answers...I think I've caused

I'm a believer that although this is not a cause of hairloss in it's own, using massive amounts of gel, hairspray, etc. But if you are prone to hair loss, and it's in your genes, using massive amounts of hair styling products does make the onset a little earlier. I know there was always this...

Does buzzed hair really = less visible hairloss?

Exactly what he said. If your really uphappy with the difference between top and sides, then buzz the sides even shorter... such as 1, instead of 2, it'll make a big difference. This is what I get... I always get it at least 2 gaurds apart... 3(top) and 1(sides) or 2(top) and 0(sides)

Is all this really even worth it?

I'm 23, I used to care a lot until a year ago. I still do care... but I'm not gonna go crazy over it. I use Rogaine twice a day everyday, but that's about it, I keep my hair short and use a thickening shampoo everyday. I'm not going to go crazy experimenting with all these herbal treatments...

I've heard much about minoxidil causing hairloss to worsen

I've been using just Rogaine since November of 2003. I think overall it has kept my hair on my head. Some parts have thickened more then others(thickened especially at the crown). I've gone through "sheds" at weeks at a time. But overall, I am satisfied wtih my results, not estatic about...

    After Applying minoxidil

I used to itch a lot on my scalp. Used T-gel, thought it made my hair looks worse, never used Nizoral. I stopped using T-gel all together. My hair rarely ever itched after 4-5 months on Rogaine and using a regular shampoo (Vive for Men). I think it just takes time for your scalp to adjust.
