Why do you not feel that it could boost my chances of additional growth, by suppressing the androgen receptors in this area shouldn't it allow minoxidil a better chance of coaxing more growth from the vellus hairs? If not what would you suggest.
BTW...I spoke to Dr. Proctor today...
Was a long time user of the liquid, worked pretty well, grew back some hair and held it for years. I switched over to foam when it came out. Initially I began a shed, thinking it was good and further growth would follow, I continued it, but steadily declined until I was worse off than I was...
Thanks for sharing your experience on the shampoo, might give it a try. How are you making out with the Virile Mane? I purchased it about 2 months ago but have not used it yet, I have heard some good things about it. Thanks.
Anyone notice a difference when changing over from Propecia to cut up Proscar, has anyone lost ground? I know it's the same exact drug, but when you cut them up maybe the distribution is very uneven so that you end up with next to nothing in some of the pieces. BTW, I am using the brand name...
Yes, separately. I take the finasteride orally and would like to add an application of spironolactone between my minoxidil applications. I have a stubborn spot on my crown and need to try adding something else, was also thinking of flutamide but not sure how safe they are. What do you think? Also was...
Been on Finasteride for over a year, is it worthwhile adding some topical spironolactone, or is it a waste of time. Anyone using both and had an improvement?
From the work I have seen he is not so great, though he charges more than most surgeons. As far as Feller, he can do good work but is inconsistent, you may get lucky, and then again you may not. Better to go to some who does it on a constant basis.
Glad you have gotten great results from the foam but most people do not, consider yourself lucky, wish it worked as well for me, I really liked its cosmetic appearance. And BTW, I did use considerably more than the recommended 1/2 cap.
As far as studies being less than scientific, the only...
Start using it immediately after the transplant, 48-72 hrs. One study showed it hastens growth and may even prevent the usual shedding of the newly grafted hair.
Glad to see some people are getting smart and dropping the foam, it was all marketing hype. More and more people have finally realized this and dumped it in the garbage. More info has leaked out as of late proving liquid is far superior!
Forget about the Hair Signals stuff, its crap, just like his prior formulations, a poor substitute for Tricomin. On the other hand Virile Mane seems to be quite effective from user reviews on various forums, that is what I am sticking with.
I have been really slack in using this stuff since I ordered it, only once or twice a week, so can't expect any thing so far. I have read other forums of people using this and getting some pretty good results, so I am gonna make of point of using it from now. From reviews its seems this stuff...
Same crap, just more of it. Nothing in his mix has clinical proof of growing hair. The copper he uses is just a smorgasboard of copper peptides, not the specific ones used in clinical trials in Tricomin. Save your money.
A waste of money, IMO. The only advantage to using a higher dose is you get from point A to point B sooner. The clinical data I have seen showed 5 mg of finasteride achieved maximum hair count in 6 months, while 1 mg took 1 year to get to the same point. You are better off sticking with 1 mg...
