    Increased need to urinate

Thanks for the advice. It seems to have settled down for me, so maybe it was just an infection.

    Increased need to urinate

I had been taking 0.5mg of finasteride, but I was losing ground so in the last month or so I have increased the dose to 1mg a day. Recently I have found that I need to urinate a lot more than previously. So I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences, and therefore if it may be connected...

Dissolving finasteride in a liquid to take orally

Not very good at cutting proscar pills and I want to take a low dose of finasteride, perhaps 0.25 to 0.5mg. I remember reading that some people dissolved proscar tablets into a liquid and then drink some of it each day. Could anyone tell me what liquid they used and the ratio of pills to liquid...

Topical finasteride & spironolactone - headaches

I've used topical spironolactone in the past and got excellent results but bad headaches from using it. I used Dr Lee's cream and lotion and then made my own using E45 cream, but still got the headaches. Recently I tried making my own topical finasteride and also got results but headaches as well (not as bad...

    Yet another topical finasteride study

I had to quit using my topical finasteride, because I started getting bad headaches and a lightheaded feeling. I seemed to be responding. There were some vellus hairs forming on parts of my temples. Very frustrating. I had a similar experience with topical spironolactone: excellent results but I got terrible...

    Yet another topical finasteride study

Noone knows for sure whether it works or not because the studies have had different conclusions This one found that there was no systemic side effects but the dosage of finasteride used was very low

    Yet another topical finasteride study

    I see. So 1 x 5mg tablet to 100ml would be a 0.05mg dose if I applied it twice a day. I'll give it a go

    Yet another topical finasteride study

I'm going to make my own topical finasteride using vodka and proscar I was just wondering what how many tablets I should use to get the same percentage mixture as this study? I was thinking 6 x 5mg proscar tablets to 100ml of liquid? Thanks for any advice

    Making topical finasteride

I know that there is limited evidence that it works, but I'm going to give it a go What I would like to know is what would be the best carrier to use? Maybe a cream? And what ratio of pills should I use Thanks
