well i'm 20 n started losing at 16 or 17 and i remember noticing for the first time the INSANE amount of burning red flaking on my scalp. I asked my bald dad who lost it early who told me he had exactly the same thing when he was my age.... hmmmm. btw if you have itchy scalp with dandruff...

ok, i admit that saying 'minoxidil is crap' was a sweeping statement and to b honest i've never tried it. so apologies for that. it just seems that if your going for long term regrowth you might as well regrow it properly and *more* naturally using some anti oxidents, anti dht, and anti seborrhea...

minoxidil is crap. don't use it. ever. the summer ahead will be cruel if (like me) you've just been shedding a lot and it's already thinner than before only to be getting thinner as the summer induces more shedding. anyways, if your worried about hair loss and have still got most your hair go for dht...

ok, so you've had significant hair regrowth to the extent that you may or may not (i'm guessing) now have a complete, and in fact female, hairline? Just out of curiousity, (and if you don't mind me asking) how long did it take for your hair to grow back and how developed was your male pattern baldness...

yeh my hair has deffinitely thinned since i started, but it's not TOO bad. Those super thick hairs must be close to the thickness of my original hair on top so hopefully more will grow from wherever they came from.

I seem to be gettin random super thick n dark hairs behind and along my hairline and even below my hairline. Kinda looks like a few trees growing in a field of hay or summit. Is this a good, bad or neutral sign and/or does anyone else seem to be experiencing this on propecia?

mature hairline can b considered mild male pattern baldness since most people with a mature hairline receed a little more when they reach their middle ages and thin out when they go grey. basically male pattern baldness so mild that they won't go bald but will lose a small but significant amount of hair over time.
