    doing everything: eucapil/minoxidil/RU58841/Tricomin/Nizoral/dutasteride

I admire your guts, NightFox. Good luck! You don't mention finasteride, have you tried it already?

Tooyoung's Story [21]- finasteride SIDES after 1.5 years

Re: Tooyoungforthiscrap's Story, UPDATE pg3 - (age 19) It's still too early. Be patient and give it more time (at least 1 year) to work.

TRC-like HM trial by Canadian company

Fascinating stuff but I'm still convinced that the definitive baldness treatment will be some sort of 'Super Propecia': an oral treatment that protects hair follicles from DHT without altering hormone levels.

The end of the American empire?

If I have to choose the next world superpower, I vote for Europe. We are way ahead of everyone else in renewable energies and, despite our internal divisions and huge bureaucracy problems, the EU, the Euro and the Lisbon Treaty are unquestionably a success. (I only wish they would allow Turkey...

    lpm2's Story

Wise words, but why on earth did you spend 1000 GPB on a trichologist?! Anyway, your hair looks great and you're taking the right measures. Good luck!

    Adam's Story (20 / Propecia 2 yrs., starting nizoral.)

Re: Adam's story (20 yrs. old, Propecia 2 yrs., starting nizoral.) I'm not an expert and I haven't read the whole article but long-term effects of finasteride are still a mystery. Propecia is still a relatively recent drug and, as far as I know, there aren't that many studies on this. I can...

    Steve-93's Story (16 with PICS!!)

Yes, you're definitely too young to start on finasteride. It's not worth the risk, at least not yet. And your hair looks great from here, you're not even a NW2! Are you sure you're losing your hair? Was there any shedding? Do you see any hair on your pillow when you wake up in the morning? My...

    Broken1i's Story - (19)

Re: Ron's story Yes, Goatboxer is right. You are young and a apparently a difuse thinner, so you're an excellent candidate for finasteride. There could be some serious side effects, so consult your doctor (dermatologist) first.

The end of the American empire?

Come on guys, show some enthusiasm! Patriotism aside, this could be an interesting discussion - America's influence in the world and the new role of emerging economies (e.g. China).

Can a woman rape a guy??

Yes, it is possible. We've seen it the movies already: Michael Douglas being raped by Demi Moore in Disclosure (1994).

    Grey hair?

I believe stress my play a big role here. I went through a stressful period recently and my hair started to turn grey then. Now that my life has stabilised, I've seen no new gray hairs. And then there's the interesting case of Aristides de Sousa Mendes: he was a Portuguese diplomat who faced...

The end of the American empire?

The dollar is about to lose its place as the international currency, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan is as good as lost and Chicago lost the 2016 Olympics to Rio. Is this the end of the American empire?

    Job/Career

When I was looking for a job, I didn't send any e-mails or letters, I went to the companies and delivered my CV personally. This saved me money and allowed me to get a first glimpse of the company and the work atmosphere. And it worked: in less than a week, I had my job!

    Job/Career

No offense, but this is just silly. :) I went back to school when I was 27 and I had the time of my life. I was still young but a bit 'wiser' (or less stupid) so I enjoyed the best of both worlds. If you feel this is the best for you, just go ahead and do it!

    Hairloss is unfairly expensive

Interesting post. I'm glad you feel this way and this is probably the best way to handle baldness, but I couldn't possibly imagine my life without hair. I was never blessed with good looks but I like to look in the mirror and see a fit body and a head with hair - in my case, it has nothing to...
