I should have put unproven treatments. finasteride/dutasteride are pretty much the only proven things that work but the fear of side effects will always be too much for some. Fair play to the guys that tried them and are doing well but a lot of people are looking for safer alternative and the stuff...
Sorry to read your story.
Do you think that this hair loss might be making way for newer, stronger hair? The fact that the vulnerable areas seem to be falling might indicate that they will come back stronger.
The reality is all the treatments out there just do very little, at best maintain...
No, I'm doing ok with microneedling and regaine. However, I'm looking for a longer-term option and this might be worth a shot, just not sure about the long-term side effects.
Mate, I was one of the first on here to pick up on this treatment about a year ago (maybe less). A Thai guy was proposing it, then that led to a Singaporean website, where I realised it was readily available for a while. I pointed out on here at the time it seemed similar to Replicel and...
Got you, that makes sense. They say it takes a full year to get the full benefits, so your result is already looking amazing, the rest is just going to be the icing on the cake.
The hairline is always the one we see first thing in the morning and last thing at night so now that's fixed, the...
Exactly pal. As they come from the back of your head, in theory they are supposed to last for life but time will tell! Let's hope, the bigger problem is the existing hair which will continue to fall (or not if you're lucky) and then the new transplant can look out of place.
Mate, you got a fantastic result! So impressed.
Would you say you got the frontal third done? Or was it like half the head?
Would you have enough grafts left to cover the rest of your head were it to go in the same direction as your hairline?
I agree. Just the problem right now is that you cannot predict how much hair one might lose so unless FUE can get to the point where a full head of hair can be replaced, it's not a feasible cure.
For me, a cure would be something like a vaccination that we take when we're younger which would prevent all forms of hair loss for life. That would mean we'd never recede and have the same head of hair for life. It will never happen, because it wouldn't be a desirable outcome, many look better...
It's a really advanced city. They're using some technology in recycling and energy needs that is light years ahead of us in the west. I'd be delighted if they put more time into medical cures as countries like Singapore and the far east have vast numbers of highly educated people.
Hi, It seems like something like that is already out which is using stem cells. Apparently it's offered in Singapore, UAE and a few other places.
It's called Regenera Activa. I will be interested to hear of the results in the coming months/years.
I came across this in Thailand and also Singapore.
I wondered if anyone here knew anything about this or something similar?
A bit more below.

It will probably start high to catch the celebrities and super rich. Then it will substantially reduce in price as more start to offer it and in order to attract the mass market. Too many bald people don't care so much or if they do will prioritize other things. For example, I can think of a few...
Sure, I get that, it's certainly not a perfect solution, but seems about as good as we can expect for a few years. Looks like the choice for a few years will remain the one that has been there for decades - Apply this poison and keep your hair, don't apply it, expect to bald. Sad.
