I saw that yesterday. They didn't give any details; they just said that preliminary results indicate positive results, which most of us were already assuming. I hope the Senate passes the21st century cures act soon, and we don't have to wait for the phase III trial to be completed.
People always care more about the diseases they and their loved ones are afflicted with, and think everyone else should too. If you get cancer, you will change your mind. You'll start spending more time looking at the latest cancer research than Androgenetic Alopecia research.
Good point. It really stretches the imagination to think her hair could grow that long in 18 weeks.
As for the combover guy, just look at the crown where they didn't play tricks. It is virtually identical. He got some regrowth surely, but nothing more than minoxidil gives.
Those pictures are very misleading. The before picture all of his hair is brushed back to make the frontal area look awful. I have the same pattern with my hairloss and i can tell you that if I do that and then brush my hair the way it is in the after pic the difference is about the same as...
I don't think anybody hates losing hair more than I do, but there SHOULD be more people working on cancer than hairloss. Androgenetic Alopecia sucks, but it's not going to kill you. I find it silly and petty to talk about raising awareness for something that doesn't kill anyone.
That is Spencer's assumption, to which the VP wouldn't even agree. After some arm twisting and Spencer putting words job his mouth he agreed it's an unreasonable assumption to make, but they don't know yet. I wouldn't put much stock in that. It could end up being considerably more or less.
Relax everybody. It's been slow going, but we're finally making progress in understanding hairloss and treating it. Better treatments ARE coming. The only thing that can speed it up is changing the laws, which isn't going to happen with all the bleeding hearts around.
An overall positive interview. They are confident that Sheisido's next trial will begin shortly. If that's the case then we should indeed be able to fly to Japan in 2018 for treatment if that trial goes as anticipated. They seem quite confident that they will be able to grow a reasonably full...
I think the hair transplant surgeon is right. People say I'm imagining it when i say I'm going balls, and i wish I had your hair. I don't see how you could be considered a Norwood 3.
After looking at the second pic again, I think you're probably a norwood 2 and should consider Finasteride before it gets...
I think they would know by now if they were not going ahead with phase 3. I doubt they would've even presented at the congress if they didn't know that they were. Most drugs that make it to Phase 3 make it to market, so in all likelihood it will.
I think it's a coincidence. Minoxidil has zero impact on that aspect of your physiology. It may be psychological stemming from a lack of confidence die to your hairloss situation. It makes sense that you would decide to stay minoxidil at the same time that your hairloss was at the point that it...
