Do you have a reference to that experiemnt on the cream based topical finasteride? I also used topical finasteride (put it inside minoxidil) for about 2 months with success but with side effects and then switched to topical sprio, which seems to be doing nothing.

Goingat20, monitor your pulse (you can do it with your hand) and try to notice your pulse while the short-breaths appear. I felt what you described on spironolactone and it did make my heart skip a pulse once in a few miutes. I stopped and it disappeared.

Guys, stop speculating, just give it a try. The systemic side effects can't be worse than those you'd get by taking the stuff orally, which many of you do anyway. It's not such a long shot. People spend so much money on such less proven treatments, so instead of talking over and over about it...
