If I used only Xandrox 12.5% lotion once a day on my hairline and temples, could I expect decent results? It says it's supposed to be a suppliment to the 5% version, but using minoxidil two times a day would be a major pain in the ***.

He didn't really give a reason for not using both, he said "I wouldn't recommend it, at least not now," so maybe it was to see what Propecia could do alone. I've got a follow-up appointment in May, so I guess I'll give it a shot by itself until then. Thanks for the input, everyone.

Hey everybody. Last week I went to a dermatologist for hair loss advice. He gave me a prescription for Propecia, but when I asked about using Rogaine with it, he said he wouldn't recommend it. If I want to try to regrow a lot of lost hair, shouldn't I be using both of them? I've got a bald spot...
