Yeah my moms side but my dad had pretty good hair till he was like 45-50. I’m still on the meds but if it doesn’t work by like month six I’ll just get a transplant.

By recent I could say I lost MOST of my hair in the past two years. I’ve been prescribed 1mg finasteride with minoxidil. Hope that’s aggressive enough to stop the hair loss and get some hair back.

I'm just a little skeptical about the results since everyone in my family has genetic male pattern baldness. also it's VERY rare for someone to lose this much hair at this age. Haven't even turned completely 20 yet lol. I actually did visit a doctor and was recommended to start the medication to prevent further...

Ill wait 6-12 months then. Hopefull my hair thickens up to the point where I can conceal my hairline. I just hope it grows back long again.

Hi, im 20 years old and for the past two years my hairloss has gotten severe. Ive just started minoxidil and finasteride 1mg a month ago but at this point im not sure it'll do much good for me. Should I just get a transplant or will my baldness reverse and could i possibly get some hair back?
