Hello, sorry about the late response. I'm not sure if I'm quite there yet. I use the dropper that comes with the Minoxidil to get it on my scalp. Then I rub it in. Here's a pic from today.

So far my side effects have been pretty mild, I had some shedding at the start of treatment and had watery sperm for about a month, but that's back to normal now.

I do an hour of training 5 days a week for the last 2 months and haven't had any increase in hairloss. I'm on treatments also.

Looks like overall your hair is thicker, good job! Will be nice to see how you're doing over the course of the year. :D

For me finasteride didn't cause any noticeable shedding. Minoxidil on the other hand did, but it got better over the next few months. You got to keep at it! Worst thing you could do is start treatments, shed and then just stop. Good luck.

I also have long hair, and you definitely want to get as much on the scalp as possible. What I usually do is wet my hair and then bend forward so my hair is facing the floor then I try to get a good lather going and rub it into my scalp, I like to leave it in for a few minute then I rinse it off.

For me it caused some shedding at the start of treatment, but over time it got better. One of the more annoying side effects it causes me is irritation and skin flaking. I use 2% ketoconazole shampoo and it helps with that problem. I don't regret starting it, but you need to be committed to the...
