I was going through the most stressful month of my life this past January (school finals). But my right temple had already started receding about a year before that and now my left side is catching up. Although, Two or three after January, I noticed excessive shedding that still hasn’t stopped...
I’ll definitely keep this in mind. If I don’t suffer sides and it turns out successful at 0.25-0.50, what age do u think is proper to increase to the recommended 1mg dose?
Great results man, hoping I can get on finasteride once I turn 18 and not have to deal with any more recession on my hairline since it happens quite rapidly to guys on my fathers side of the fam.
I just booked an appointment with a local dermatologist which had great reviews all around but it’s not until December xD. Hopefully I can get some good news out of it and some progress with minoxidil by then.
I think I am going to stick with minoxidil until I turn 18 and try out finasteride once the time comes and maybe there will actually be a cure by 2020 (doubtful though). Hopefully there’ll be better options by then.
And once I am able to get a prescription for finasteride, is it worth getting Propecia or is Actavis (generic) a better option? Of course due to the price difference
I am currently 16 years old and new here. I know finasteride is only prescribed to people that are at least 18. I have slight recession in both sides of my temples and just started using minoxidil liquid from Kirkland in those areas. What do you guys think should be my game plan until I turn 18...
