    What Norwood am I?

Guys used to buy it from the keeps website two or three years ago, if memory serves me right. It's an online pharmacy that hands you an e-prescription and sends you the meds. Dunno if it still exists

    What Norwood am I?

Norwood 1.5 or 2, your hair looks very thick, dense and healthy apart from the recession at the temples, so you would probably be a good candidate for a transplant if you ever need one, as long as you don't start thinning at the front and midscalp, or the crown. Then things get harder unless you...

6 year update (26 years old)

Thanks for the update man, I'm glad thinks have worked out for you. It's always nice to hear the success stories here, lots of people leave after they stabilize or regrow their hair and that feeds an aura of negativity around this subforum. I've got to update my story here too

5 year mature hairline update. 27 year old now.

It looks similar to me, although your hair is longer at the moment. Temples seem slightly denser to me

Good haircuts for baldies? (seven words)

If you're receding at the temples and thinning at the top I would suggest getting a fade because it will hide the temporal recession and give an illusion of density at the front. Otherwise if you want to hide your hairline and have good density you can style your hair in a faux-hawk or with a...

    What is my Norwood?

There is the possibility of you thinning in a NW3 Vertex partern or in a NW5A/6 pattern, because there is also some thinning at the midscalp.

Finasteride progress pics after 3 years

I agree with Moz, your hair seems to look the same as before or better. The pictures aren't the best for comparison, but in any case your hair looks very dense, thick and healthy. I don't think you will ever go beyond NW3, and you would probably be a great hair transplant candidate anyway if you...

    What is my Norwood?

Norwood 3.5 with some thinning at the midscalp and vertex. I would get on finasteride and minoxidil asap if I were you. You can always use topical finasteride if you are afraid of oral.

23, is it already time to see a dermatologist?

Two bottles cost less than twenty five bucks here so that is what it costs me per month

23, is it already time to see a dermatologist?

I can now have a 5 o'clock shadow if I don't shave for two or three days or a scruffy full beard if I let it grow, whereas I didn't have any facial hair in my cheeks and neck before. Will keep using it for another year at least. I use less than two bottles per month because I use 0.5 ml or less...

23, is it already time to see a dermatologist?

Thanks mate, I use topical, your typical liquid Minoxidil because foam is very expensive and hard to get here. There's a high alcohol, low Propylenglycol Minoxidil solution I use in the morning because it dries in 40 minutes or less and your typical high PG, low alcohol Minoxidil I use a few...

23, is it already time to see a dermatologist?

Hopefully you'll get some good results. Trying something such as tretinoin, a derminator or microneedling with something such as a 12 pin Dr Pen Ultima A6 if you're using topical minoxidil might help to get that regrowth, since it's usually harder to get regrowth at the temples. Yeah my hair...

23, is it already time to see a dermatologist?

As promised, here's an update after getting a haircut. I don't see much of a difference to be honest, wanted to give an update in case anyone was interested. My hair is longer in this one because I got my haircut done by a rookie barber and I told him to leave it longer to make things easier for...

Thin hair on mother's side of the family?

I'm the same as Joe. Men from my dad's family are all NW1s till death, but men in my mum's family are a mixed bag: There is a NW2 one at 44 and the rest end up NW5A-NW6 by their 40s-50s. I've read some scientific papers that point that the overall hair sensitivity to DHT might be influenced by...
