Is it just me or is the spray applicator TOO precise? I bought it expecting it to be a diffuse applicator but it seems to concentrate the fibers into one particular area.

Yes, less is definitely more with Toppik. I find a light application of dermatch followed by a slight dusting of fibers works best. I actually prefer Hairsoreal to Toppik, which I find a little chalky.

It does ruin your hat, I've ruined countless. You can't run your hand through your hair as it will get covered in fibers. I've banged my head on the interior of my car before and ended up with a smudge on the car's upholstery where I hit it. The trials of fibers eh?

You inhale dust every day, I can't see the fibres being any worse than regular dust to be honest.
