Keto 1% or 2% shampoos? Is there a differnece?

Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone felt a difference between using a 1% or 2% keto shampoo? There are placed to get 2% online, but they it is expensive, and I am not really sure it is worth it. I was just wondering if there were an studies on this or if anyone had noticed a difference...

Three years of pics, losing ground, should I go nuclear?

Would you consider these topical anti-androgens?

Three years of pics, losing ground, should I go nuclear?

That's not a bad suggestion. I actually use Regeneppure DR and NT(?) when I am washing on my days I don't use nizoral.

Three years of pics, losing ground, should I go nuclear?

Wow, 20 mins! That's a lot. Is that normal for 2% nizoral? I usually leave it in for about 5 to 10 max. I saw a product somewhere that advertised Minoz with Tretinoin and Azelaic Acid. Might add that in next year. Since shipping is slow and I am currently moving, I am slowly adding stuff to start...

Three years of pics, losing ground, should I go nuclear?

I don't know, but my hair line seems to have been pretty bad when I was 16. I wish I could find the pic showing how I was already a clear Norwood 2.5-Norwood 3. Never considered oral min. Do people usually take that in addition to topical min?

21, Hey I’m Daniel and I’m just concerned

I started finasteride at 21 and never had any sides. Even adding dutasteride 10 years later, no sides. It affects everyone differently. Talk to a derm with a good reputation. Nobody is born with a receding hairline and yours has clearly receded somewhat, obviously a proper NW2. Where it will go from here is...

Also, melatonin and saw palemtto may be decent supplements, but if you really want to maintain, you're gonna need a DHT blocker like finasteride.

Honestly, it's very hard to tell. You clearly have recession, but it is anyone's guess as to where it goes from here. Only your genetics know. I went to a NW3 when I was 16 and maintained it until being 32 with the help of meds for 10 years. Other guys I know had better hairlines than you did at...

Three years of pics, losing ground, should I go nuclear?

Hi all, I've felt I was losing ground on the sides of my hairline over the past few years. I am posting pics here from 2018 (29 y/o)-present (32 y/o). I have always had a receding hairline like this since I was 16. The pic from 2006 shows this somewhat but it was actually MUCH worse than that...

Topical Melatonin for Treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia

Is there anything comparing oral to topical? I heard on a podcast that when they (the neuroscientist being interviewed) tested the effects of melatonin on hamsters, the males greatly reduced their testosterone levels and I think there were some dramatic effects in the females as well. In any...

Can Anyone Recommend Any Good Vitamins & Supplements For Hair?

I don't think any are going to make a major impact. Saw Palmetto and possibly Pygeum. Saw Palmetto may help for prostate issues, but there is thus far not really conclusive evidence either way. If you are serious about keeping your hair, consult with Doctor about finasteride/dutasteride.

Propecia Not Working after 6 years - Starting Avodart -

Well, while it isn't the cure, isn't it the best thing that there is? I am really curious to know what % of people benefit from it compared to what % of people actually have it accelerate their T levels and worsen things.

Propecia Not Working after 6 years - Starting Avodart -

Well isn't dutasteride much stronger? Hypothetically, it should be more effective (for better and worse) at blocking DHT. So if someone doesn't respond to finasteride well, isn't it logical to try dutasteride given its greater potency?
