I've started doing both of those things now. The problem with min, though, is that it makes my hair appear so much thinner than it already appears (like ridiculously more), and it can last for hours, so I can't use it when going outside.

I have now started finasteride and will start minoxidil very soon. So, you're saying it doesn't look like I'm too far gone?

I worry I've waited far too long to make a difference. I knew I had male pattern baldness but I was just in denial. It's gotten pretty bad. My hair looks downright awful when wet (after just getting out of the shower). I wonder if it's too late now. I'm 30 years old, and my pattern doesn't seem to quite match up...
