I had a similar story with topical dutasteride.
I had a really slow hairloss int he vertex area for two years and tried a minoxidil solution with horse placenta, oxytocin and 0.1% dutasteride.
Ive been using it only two times with less than the recommanded dose but had to stop du to chest pain.

Thanks for your message man.
I was always impressed by the huge number of people and doctors claiming that finasteride has a very good safety profile because the clinical trials held by Merck in the late 90's says so.
Even 1 or 2% of people experiencing terrible sides among billions taking this...
It's me again.
Sides have completely disappeared today two days after last application. Sides were so similar to finasteride tablet I was wondering if it was really spironolactone...
I thought it was a blessing to get back to my normal life because I was able to go on a date... which was a big...
Yes I think it should be ok.
Still if the people who claims that these sides didn't go away for them are real, I understand why some of them quit their job or even commited suicide. I can tell you from my situation today it was really hard to have a normal life so I cannot imagine what I would...
This is an OTC product supposed to have no side effects because applied at low dose topically.
I have never heard of men having this kind of sides with topical spironolactone even with the 5% gel.
It seems that I am particularly sensitive to antiandrogen... :-(
It's me again.
From yesterday evening I have terrible headache and impotence (I fell like my penis is not a part of myself anymore). Sleep is also bad.
Mood is ok.
I'll stop topical spironolactone for a few days to see if it gets better.
Hello buddies,
Thank you for your comments.
I appreciate that people can debate on this forum.
Just a quick report:
It's been a week I am applying topical spironolactone 2% solution.
From day 1 I have basically the same sleep disorder side effect I had with finasteride but no brain fog. I feel...
Indeed it seems not that complicated to mix a powder into a Ethanol + PPG solution.
Unfortunately, there have not been any Phase II or III clinical trials for this material so I am still a little bit reluctant to use it.
That being said, RU58841 is supposed to bind to androgen receptors like...
You are right. That's why I have used quotations marks.
The fact is the more the API is going systemic the more side effects are likely to occur.
I just would like to know whether a topical anti-DHT with less sides than finasteride in liquid solution exists or not.
I thought topical spironolactone was known to inibiting DHT receptors in sebaceous glands.
It is the first time I read it should be taken orally to be effective...
CB0301 and RU58841 are really popular chemicals on internet forum but I am not ready to make any purchase if I have to make my one...
I had chest pain and severe headache from oral minoxidil too.
I suddenly sweated a lot and almost fainted in the subday 30 minutes after taking my first tablet.
Took half a dose the following day but the sides effect were so obvious I got a comment about from my boss at work.
All came back to...
Hello everyone,
I am a 29 year-old guy taking minoxidil (Spectral DNC-N) and Ketoconazole shampoo from 2011 to fight against a receding hairline.
I could manage to increase my hair volume at first then maintain it for a few years but my vertex is now balding too.
I have started to apply...
Thanks for your replies :)
You are right maybe it's too often. I reduced to 0.5 and 1.5 once a week each.
I realized I also could reduce the itching by taking a shower and shampoo my hair with Revita (Ketoconazol) right after using the dermaroller.
But I continue to experience increased...
Hello everyone.
Has someone ever experienced shedding while on dermarolling?
I am a Norwood 3 with thinning crown.
I have been using Spectral DNC-N and Revita for years and started dermarolling two weeks ago with 1.5 mm once a week and 0.5 mm every other day in the evening.
My hair are 2~3 cm...
