HMI-115 PRLR antibody: The Most Promising Treatment Ever

gourmetstylewellness.com community is so depressive... So, what people do not see here, apart from the evident regrowth in a clinical phase whose main objective is not to assess effectivenes and dosage, but rather check efficacy and safety, is that it's being proven that the PRLR is really linked to Androgenetic Alopecia. It might...

HMI-115 PRLR antibody: The Most Promising Treatment Ever

It amazes me how people are already claiming this is another BS even without the results having been released. They've gone towards making partnerships for commercialization already. This won't be a cheap topical, it's a synthetic antibody that will cost 1000s of dollars. Going mass production...

HMI-115 PRLR antibody: The Most Promising Treatment Ever

Thanks for pointing this out. Most fellows here believe every one is as concerned as them, which aren't.

HMI-115 PRLR antibody: The Most Promising Treatment Ever

Guys you're crazy. Someone get some illegitimate pictures of the guy before finishing the trials, from an event where he used toppik (of course he would not recover that amount of hair in 3 months), and automatically he is lying. Does your mental sanity went away with your hair?

Can someone clarify the mechanism of action of topical finasteride?

Yes. Partly because it blocks testosterone->DHT conversion the follicles, and partly because it goes systemic and blocks some testosterone->DHT conversion in other parts of the body. Whichever mechanism is dominant, however, is unknown as far as I know.

Published in Nature: Weekly treatment with SAMiRNA targeting the androgen receptor ameliorates androgenetic alopecia

So, if this works by silencing RNA of the androgen receptor, this should do wonders in conjunction with a prolactin receptor RNA silencer.

7th dose in a protocol of 12 each fortnight, if I remember correctly. So, he is past halfway the complete trial protocol. As he stated some weeks before, he is not allowed to post photos.

HMI-115 PRLR antibody: The Most Promising Treatment Ever

In the end, antibodies are large proteins that must be stored below their unfolding temperature in order for them to do their job when entering the body. This alone resembles a noticeable challenge as it regards testing the drug like in a group buy. Then, the drug is more a very strict...

In vitro production of hair shafts by Javanese researchers

As demonica kiwi's article poits out, we, baldies are only concerned for the immadiate application of HF harvesting for later transplantation. But furthermor this sort of cultured brand new HFs can be an ideal study scenario for Androgenetic Alopecia itself into testing potential treatments and even gene editing...

In vitro production of hair shafts by Javanese researchers

Nice breakthrough. Link to the paper. https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.add4603 Rodents always have the solution for their hair loss before humans, but these researchers are now for sure up to creating some spin-off or looking for funding for humans exploitation of the culture...

Will there ever be a cure for androgenic alopecia?

Option #2 is of course the way to go in a capitalist world. But still MAA is such a widespread condition that even a one-time solution is profitable in the long term, as more baldies are born. Plus one can sell a one-time treatment/cure for the price of a chronic treatment applied along many years.

An Old Medicine Grows New Hair for Pennies a Day, Doctors Say

Yeah. Truth is, the article does not specify if they are adding spironolactone for men's regime, but it seems it's only for women. So, men have to become chewbacca or stay shiny bald. Seen a lot of threads on gourmetstylewellness.com about the drug. Hard stuff it seems.

An Old Medicine Grows New Hair for Pennies a Day, Doctors Say

Oral minoxidil, combined with spironolactone to prevent unwanted hair growth in not-scalp face/body areas. Could this be used topically?
