I would start with finasteride 1mg daily and re-evaluate every month with pictures to see how you are progressing. You can always add rogaine a few months later. If the finasteride works, then you have one less drug to use in the rogaine. Good luck.

Hi, I agree with the poster above if it is male pattern baldness. However, what you are describing does not sound like male pattern baldness. Pictures would be helpful, but I would suggest you seek a second opinion with a specialist on this matter. Best of luck.

Without baseline photographs it is difficult to be definite. To me you look like you are balding and receding. If you want to really know the answer go and see a dermatologist who will do a miniaturization study on you. Good luck.
