I don’t know why I can’t find it but I’m looking for the actual chart or study data that shows these:
Dutasteride doses of 0.5mg, 1mg, 2.5mg and how each dose affects serum DHT, scalp DHT, and what percent of 5ar1 + 5ar2 it inhibits at each dose.
It might be separate charts/information, but...
Just want to second this because this diet helps my skin/lowers sebum a fair amount. If I eat dairy or sugar (other high glycemic foods like fries, chips, white bread, etc.) my skin becomes extremely oily. I still have some adult acne, but if I go off the diet I start breaking out so bad on my...
Not sure if I could even convince a dermatologist to send in a prescription for 1.5mg or 2.5mg compounded dutasteride… but curious how anyone here is getting it. What kind of doctor? I’m assuming it’s sent to a compounding pharmacy or else you’d be taking 3 or 5 pills a day…
Also, how does the...
I’ve tried everything, diet, supplements, topicals, dutasteride, etc. everything except accutane which I’m kind of scared of considering the risk of worse hair loss. I will say reducing sugar (almost never eat sugar or high glycemic foods now) helped a fair amount, but the acne is still here and...

The vegan blend is probably the best in terms of taste/texture, but pea or soy are good if you mix them with fruit, cocoa powder, etc.
Pea and soy don’t have much of a taste (which is good) while brown rice and hemp are usually gritty and have a noticeable earthy taste.
I saw some old threads with some information about 5AR-1 reduction with varying dutasteride doses, but I couldn’t find sources on it. Is there any information for this on doses other than every day? I’m curious because of the possible effect 5AR-1 reduction could have on acne.
there should be no issues, I started finasteride at 17 and I don’t think it affected development at all (which most of is usually finished before 17, depending on when you started puberty)
It looks somewhat similar to mine. I don’t know what norwood it is, but your hair looks fine. PLEASE get on finasteride like I did. It helps with some of the anxiety to know that you’re doing the best you can to prevent or slow down any loss. If you want to know anything about that, feel free to...
