Hey everyone.
I'm confused by this, and want someone who knows more about hair cycles/effects of minoxidil to chime in.
I've been losing hair for about 11 years. Early on, I tried minoxidil but was not regular with it, at best I took it several months with night time only application. I saw no...
Manutd545:
Sorry, my implication was that a strip scar would not be acceptable. In one option, I create the scar then have an FUE procedure to correct it (Does anyone know if THIS option will still allow me to buzz my hair down really short?)
The second option is FUE only so of course the...
What is the consensus here, which approach is better in the long run, FUT (strip) procedure with the benefits of lower transection (no grow) rates, cheaper, denser (according to Shapiro's clinic of Minnesota), and then follow up with a small FUE session in the scar after the scar has healed, or...
I think neograft is that vacuum contraption that holds the follicle and then shoots them out at planting phase.
I do not think that is considered a very reputable technique. None of those docs considered at the top of their field seem to use it. The only power assisted device I am familiar with...
ketocazlone or whatever has been proven to increase the diameter of the hairshaft, i have not heard it maintain hair count, or grow it for that matter.
i agree that we take all sorts of sh*t these days, and we do not know how safe they are. but nizoral itself says to use it for up to 8 weeks, when many of us have used it for years. toms of maine is a natural product manafacturer (i use its tootpaste btw), but not all natural products are going...
It says cornwall, stamped as the return address on the back of the package.
i am not trying to say anything about the business model, however i get skeptical when internet companies operate in various, exotic small locations. doesn't exactly give me the impression of being a well established...
i had used nothing but nizoral for about 1 year.
i should probably not have quit finast, and recenlty purchased some that I hope is legit (qhi.co.uk).
i have noticed a general loss of hair, probably more so than when i was on finast. however, the nizoral kept my scalp feeling nice.
if you have lost little hair in the frontal hairline, you may want to consider not using minoxidil at this stage. you may start to shed (you can shed from propecia too, but it may stop further loss).
minoxidil to regrow, propecia to maintain - in general. some people report growth with Propecia...
I faxed in my disclaimer to QHI.
BTW, I got my proscar from there a couple days ago.
Im CONCERNED.
A) why is there a stamp from Malta?
B) i haven't opened it yet (i may return it) but it appears to be round tablets, as opposed to the weird Proscar shape)
C) it said they are based in...
i started using 5% minoxidil again recently and am going thru a major shed... i have decided to stop using it because quite frankly i cannot AFFORD a shed (i conceal my loss, and if i lose another more hair it will be impossible to conceal.)
as i have not been on this website in over a year, i...
okay, im' back after a couple days.
anyways, so i gather we should not use nizoral more than 3 x a week, maybe as little as possible?
as it turns out, i found that link when doing a search on NuHair shampoo, that i found at my local CVS for about $5. i'm glad to see, it is safe. I was...
I agree. Im kinda a pretty boy type and very vain when it comes to my hair. I'm always trying to do new styles, and I gotta say, that buzzed look works great on you. I've never tried it, but if mine looked that good, i'd stick to it. These days no one in their right mind would confuse one for...
