Do and diffuse thinners have pictures of themselves with a shaved head? I'm diffuse thinning...thinking about shaving the head, but don't want to see an obvious line where my hair is thick and where it's thin. Thanks

I've been on it for a week or so...no sides yet besides my hair shedding like crazy, but I told my self if I experienced any sides what so ever I would stop taking it. It's up to you.

I'm in the exact same situation as you and my hair is almost identical. Everyone tells me to start treatment now. I went to the derm and got a script for propecia but am scared to even to fill it. I just am worried about the long term effects of taking something like that..say 20 or 30 years...

Re: Finasteride side effects Wow! This really surprises me that no one is responding to this! Are these facts or just speculation? If it's fact that would make my decision to start finasteride very easy as I haven't even had my first child yet.

So I'm 30, started thinning on the crown and now diffuse thinning on the top of my head toward the front. It's getting kinda bad, but still not really noticable. In fact if it stopped today, I'd be perfectly happy. My question is does male pattern baldness ever start and then just stabilize and stay that way...
