Going bald! Time to fight back.

Skipped 1 month again, so this is 8month update. Can't member if i mentioned this or not, but dropped revita shampoo/conditioner and ketoconazol about 4months ago, didn't have any dandruff and revita shampoo/conditioner took 10mins at mornings and i'm lazy and want to sleep that 10mins...

Going bald! Time to fight back.

Yeah, i'm happy with results so far, actually i'm not hoping much more but i think there will still be some progress because i'm only at 6months mark now.

No worries. Didn't make the switch to kirkland foam, still using rogaine. Totally forgot to update here (month 5), this is how things look now after haircut yesterday, 6month update -> - - - Updated - - -

Going bald! Time to fight back.

Diffuser 44 -> Moved office desk less than 1meter, light is different because of that. I have scheduled haircut (always same lenght) every 2.5-3weeks, none of the pics are taken more than week after haircut. Last one was tuesday last week, next one is 5th next month - always same lenght. I'm...

Going bald! Time to fight back.

Month 4 pic. Dropped ketoconazol 1½ month ago, was too lazy to get new bottle and didn't have any dandruff problems before or after so i guess i dont need it.

Going bald! Time to fight back.

3month update, no sides, only missed one rogaine dose so far, pretty much routine by now. I've pretty much dropped ketoconazol because i'm not getting any dandruff problems, only using it once a week now. Baseline for comparison: ...if pics doenst lie, i'm seeing progress!

Going bald! Time to fight back.

Maybe some light fuzz on the temple area, i had some shedding few weeks ago but it stopped, have had 2 short perioids of shedding during the first 2 months. I'm hoping to see some improvement before summer, but let's see. Atleast it's not worse than starting point i guess. I had one small 100%...

Going bald! Time to fight back.

Dunno, maybe it's just coincident but timeline does match perfectly so thats what I think, yes. - - - Updated - - - So.. 1 month pics with finasteride, last 2 weeks with rogaine foam. Seems like first bottle of foam lasted only 2 weeks. I'm applying it on larger area than just vertex and...

Going bald! Time to fight back.

It's male pattern baldness for sure, I just personally think that the accident, stress and long term use of opiates triggered male pattern baldness for me. My dad was around 25 when he started to loss his hair, so I think I have been lucky to keep my hair until recently. Considering my age, 37, I feel like I need to do everything...

Going bald! Time to fight back.

So, it's been now 23days with finasteride/ketonazol and 11days with rogaine foam. Hair seems to grow faster, dunno if any difference on the balding/thinning area but overall, growth is faster than usual. Easy to notice because I have haircut every 3 weeks and I had to scissor some frontal hair...

Propecia - When does it kick in and stop hairloss?

Going bald! Time to fight back.

Thanks for kind warnings about finasteride, I have read most of the horror stories about it. So far I have been i'm pretty tolerant when it comes to sides of basically any drugs. That said, no sides YET, not even watery semen which seems to be most common side for lots of people. Anyway, I will...

Going bald! Time to fight back.

Just a small update.. i've been taking 1.25mg finasteride for 13days now, small shedding what i had before slowed down by end of the first week, dunno if because of the finasteride/ketonazol combo or not, shedding now is below 'normal avarage'. No sides what so ever. Got rogaine 5% foam...

new member, will propecia help me at this late stage??

I'm 37, started finasteride 10days ago, so far no sides. I would suggest that you give it a try and see, pushing it for later time certainly doesn't make positive effect on your hairloss ...
