Success on Finasteride. Terrible results on Minoxidil 5% foam

That’s a great idea because the search functions don’t really allow you to pinpoint long time users or the “elderly people” in their 40s.

Success on Finasteride. Terrible results on Minoxidil 5% foam

You’re definitely correct. For the first 10 years I feel like my hair was in better shape than when I first started. Unfortunately genetics are starting to catch up and things are really starting to go down high. I’m still able to conceal the thinning but it’s getting tougher and tougher to do...

Success on Finasteride. Terrible results on Minoxidil 5% foam

Yes with the exception of a few months when generics first became available. My pharmacy refilled my scribe with the non name brand without me knowing. I ended up going back to propecia because I wasn’t comfortable with where the generic brand was being manufactured.

Success on Finasteride. Terrible results on Minoxidil 5% foam

I am in a similar situation as you @CanadianGuy. I have been on propecia for over 15 years. The past 3 years or so I have really started to lose ground. Propecia Stopped Working... It's Time To Switch To Avodart

So is dutasteride working for you now? I am a long time propecia user(12 to 13 years) and I feel like it lost its effectiveness for me over the last 2 to 3 years. I still take it daily, but have been debating on whether to give dutasteride a try. I haven’t seen many posts of long time...

Anyone Conceived A Child While On finasteride?

I have had two healthy children with no issues while taking 1 mg of propecia. I’d been on it for 5 to 6 years before having my first child and both times we had no issue conceiving.

Long Time Propecia User Randomly Experiencing Sides

I have been on propecia for over 13 years with minimal sides. The only real side I have experienced is acne, which I still get periodically. However, within the last several months I have been experiencing some serious brain fog. I am not sure if it is related to propecia or not since I never...

39 Yo Losing The Battle For My Hair And Hating It

Not to hijack the thread, but I am in a similar situation. I am 37 years old and I have been taking Propecia daily for the past 13 years. I wouldn’t say that I grew back any hair but I only had minor loss over the first 11 years. However, the past two years I have lost A LOT of ground. I am...
