Avodart Script - Switching from Local Pharmacy to Canadian ?

A couple months ago I started taking Avodart (brand name from GlaxoSmithKlein). Got a script via Medical Wellness Center and filled it out a local pharmacy. So far so good, but the price per month to fill it is $120. I told my doctor I've been taking it and he said he'd write me a script that I...

    Starting Dutasteride Today - Journal

So, after 11 years on Finasteride with no side effects (no brain fog, no sexual side effects, etc. even at 2.5mg) I'm taking the plunge with Avodart. I have considered it for about a decade, but there was always so much unknown and controversy surrounding this drug that I never felt it was worth...

    spironolactone liquid 2%

I use the 5% cream from Dr Lee. Couldn't really tolerate having to apply it so I never have it an honest go until now. When I was researching a good AA to use in addition to Finasteride, I remember everyone said cream is the way to go. Forget why, but I think it had to do with the smell and...

Switching from Finasteride to Dutasteride - Some input pls

After 11 years of being on Finasteride and experiencing some reasonably good slowing of my hair loss, I have decided to give Avodart a earnest effort. My only real goal in using it is to maintain what I have and I will be using it in addition to topical spironolactone Cream, minoxidil, and Nizoral. I got a...

Seriously Considering hair transplant - Feedback Please (PICS)

Got a response from Cole. He suggested 1200 - 2000 FUE grafts to restore hairline: Front: 600-1200 grafts Crown: 600-800 grafts. Definitely much more conservative of an estimate than Umar's 3500, but if Umar is preparing to do as much of a full restore as he can could be worth it.

Seriously Considering hair transplant - Feedback Please (PICS)

Yah, 3500 FUE grafts sounds like a great deal of grafts. Especially for FUE. If I did decide to go with Umar I would go down and how an in office consultation since he's about 30 minutes outside of Los Angeles. This would also be a rather costly procedure at around $25,000 so its a large...

Seriously Considering hair transplant - Feedback Please (PICS)

Hey DoctorHouse, I empathize with your dilemma. It seems to be a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation for sure. Everyone seems to tell me its too early and it will look weird as I continue to lose hair, but honestly I realize that and I don't mind the idea of having additional...

    minoxidil - 1ml all over head 1x a day or .5 ml crown 2x a day ?

Due to facial bloating from minoxidil, I decided to cut my daily dose in half which seems to reduce the bloating. I'm a NW2V/3V with some mild thining all over the top so I could benefit from using minoxidil all over my head including hairline. I have 2 options: 1) Use minoxidil all over my head with...

    spironolactone and wrinkles

I doubt it. Some of the spironolactone will get your face while you sleep I'm sure. It's super moisturizing as it's an oily kind of cream. I think kit actually has IMPROVED my skin overall, but wrinkles are typically caused by free radicals or excessive drying/irritation/etc. I doubt spironolactone is doing...
