The density in the crown area is pretty bad. I think a hair transplant might help.

I am diffuse thinner where my scalp is see through while wet. I have been on dutasteride for six months. Wondering if a hair transplant is a good idea to add density in the crown and in the hairline?
Or should I stick to toppik and another concealers.
Would PRP and LLLT help mitigate any problems with shock loss?
The problem is the resveratrol content in red wine is far too low to make an impact. And red wine does not necessarily contain resveratrol. So the health benefits of drinking red wine are extremely overrated IMO. You are better off with a quality resveratrol supplement.

I am sorry to hear that. In my case; had been on intermittent fasting when I originally started dutasteride. The shedding was dramatic and terribly frightening since I lost hair on my sides as well before I got back to baseline eventually. Things look better now but I find that my erections are weaker...
Thank you for the feedback bud. It really helps. I am probably being a little too neurotic about the whole thing.
Btw have you experienced any stringent sides with Dutasteride (original or generic)? How have you been coping with the dutasteride overall?
I am wondering if it would okay to switch from dutasteride to finasteride. I am contemplating a topical + oral finasteride combo to keep DHT at bay. Should I stop dutasteride completely or wean it out slowly. Have been experiencing weaker erections.
Would it be possible for me to shift to topical and oral finasteride? What are the potential risks? Would I experience more shedding. I have noticed weaker erections of late and it worries me.
I'd concur. Knowing how Big Pharma functions; they are not seeking out a cure but a treatment that would garner them a steady stream of income for a lifetime. A cure defeats that purpose; profit. They are not in it for the science or philantrophy.
For your body building and fitness regimen; do you make it a point to take GMO free supplements or have not paid any particular attention to those? Do you take whey, mass gainer, soy or a protein blend?
Thank you. I'll take a call post the one year mark. Might consider switching to topical finasteride + minoxidil completely as it is available in my country but just not yet.
I went cold turkey on finasteride before switching to dutasteride three times a week as the efficacy of dutasteride made finasteride redundant in my view...
Shedding and hair loss are different aspects. It is hypothesized that shedding occurs because the hair cycle gets interrupted and the weaker hairs are pushed out and replaced with stronger follicles over time. Being that dutasteride is a more potent 5 AR inhibitor and blocks both type 1 and 2 enzymes...
An update: End of month 4 on dutasteride. Stopped using castor oil but I intend to re-initiate my dosage by June. This time I'll take it orally rather than use it topically.
Shedding has stopped. Some thickening and my hair looks darker. Perhaps some regrowth as well but that is hard to tell. What do...
You are clearly a diffuse thinner. I understand all too well what your concerns (being a diffuse thinner myself) are and would urge you to wait. Give your regimen some time to work (8 months to a year) before you jump on to the hair transplant bandwagon.
I'd also suggest sticking to liquid...
Everything is action and consequence. We have a few conjectures that might be deemed as being somewhat tenable. However, hairloss is a symptom of an underlying problem that is still not clearly understood.
I am a bit wary of nizoral because of the SLS/SLES in it. Considered regenepure but it...
