I've been on it for about 6 weeks. I'm experiencing no sides except for an increase of hair shedding which should be a good indicator. My hair looks definitely the worse it has ever been but I'm hopping to see some regrowth. Only time will tell.

I wouldn't worry much if I was you. You currently are suffering from shock loss which is nothing unusual. The first three to four months after the procedure, it is perfectly normal and common to look even more bald than before the procedure. You can always contact your clinic for their input...

Minoxidil is much safer in side effects term than finasteride. There is no reason to fear it. Do you have any pictures so we get a better idea of what is your hairloss like?

If I was you I would get on finasteride to stop or at least slow down the hair loss. Male pattern baldness is progressive and you are no exception. Just a friendly advice.
