Temples are normal. Crown is almost normal I guess. My dad is bald. My mom's father wasn't bald. Also this photo was taken in bathroom light so it's really bright but it doesn't look anything like this in normal light so I'm not sure.

I'm 21 and have a receding hairline and also have a small bald spot near crown area. I don't wanna go for finastride as my condition isn't very bad right now. So will only minoxidil work for my hairline? Also I'm planning to go for the foam variant. Is it less effective?

Finastride alone will help me keep my current hair right? Or do I need minoxidil for that?
