I don't really get sides from dutasteride, as far as I know anyway, its just that somehow someway its aggressive on my hairline, my hairloss goes faster with dutasteride than with finasteride.
Hi all,
I have tried to switch from finasteride to dutasteride to finasteride again, now I am on dutasteride again and I want to go back to finasteride. dutasteride is just too aggressive for me, so I think I am better off with finasteride. Im reading more and more about how dutasteride raises scalp T by a 100% and I am probably just sensitive to that...
Im switching back to finasteride for like the third time or so, its just too aggressive on my hair. Why/how I don't know, maybe something to do with scalp T.
Well my dad has thick sides, I think the same goes for people on my moms side of the family, but I think what you are referring to is more like age related thinning? that happens to every form of tissue, it gets weaker, more brittle, etc. Anyway, were getting a bit off topic. I am mostly a...
Well that's the first time I ever heard about that! I thought the whole idea of a transplant was that the hairs from the back and the side are DHT, or whatever hormone is causing hairloss, resistant.
Yeah I am surprised as well, I am not a 100% sure its the RU, but it keeps happening on the stuff, very shitty sleep and very very lethargic. And I am not one who is afraid for sides every time I try something new.
I am gonna try a month without. A month with no alcohol, and a steady sleeping...
I am back on it. I don't know what caused the extreme fatigue. I know for a fact that the fatigue wasn't in my head, but did RU cause it? Lets hope not. I really need something besides RU to keep my hair in the long term. Using both RU and dutasteride seems like an amazing combo to me.
BTW I am only...
Jep, there is the lockdown, and there is the fact that I was on meds that were making me tired, plus there is other stuff going on in my life that can cause some serious fatigue issues. My energy is coming back and if it stays there for a couple of days, I will hop back on it.
Sucks that you...
Yeah I had a lot of things going on that can cause fatigue. I am starting to feel better. If I can keep this up I am gonna start with RU again. I don't think it caused the fatigue to be honest. But I am gonna wait for a couple more days. I really want to keep using it!
Thanks for the advice!
I...
Hi all,
I think I may have gotten bad sides from RU usage. As of lately, I have gotten extremely lethargic, also my sleep quality has suffered significantly.
Has anyone else noticed this or any other sides on RU, and how long did it take for the sides to disappear?
It is a shame, because I...
Hi guys,
How bad is it to go without dutasteride for 3 days? Its half life is much longer than finasteride, so its less problematic I think?
Love to hear your thoughts!
Ryan
Dutasteride also made my hairline worse. So after like a year on dutasteride only I took finasteride with it. Then finasteride only for a while. Now I am back on dutasteride only, my hairline was pretty damn itchy and 'slowly' moving up (imo it wasn't so slowly). Now I am using RU with it and my hairline is way less itchy...
