I’m actually considering talking to my dr about switching to Dutasteride.
It’s obvious in the pictures there is some regrowth and that Propecia is working but I’m curious if dutasteride would help more.
However I don’t know if my dr will go for that considering it’s not FDA approved.
We’ll see...
My seamen is a little watery, perhaps a bit more clear as well.
Other than that, nothing. Zilch.
Which had I known that I would’ve started Propecia 2 or 3 years ago when I first noticed my hair thinning.
Yes, it’s encouraging to me as well. Being on Propecia for 10 months and just now starting to see results at least let’s me know that it’s working and that my body responded to it.
For a while I was scared it wasn’t doing anything at all and that it was going to get worse.
I can be realistic...
Update!
Well it’s been a while since I posted. Figured it’s easier to just check in every couple months.
Well, I’m starting to see some hair regrowth. So I can’t say Propecia doesn’t work. It does.
There are still a lot of very fine hairs and if you zoom in you’ll see them. I’m assuming they...
Month 5
I’ve noticed there are some very thin hairs on my crown. Not a lot but enough to notice.
I’ve also noticed there are thin hairs on my hairline starting to appear. I’m not sure if these are hairs growing back or actually becoming thinner...there are quite a few of them though so I feel...
Month 3 update.
Honestly, nothing drastic to report.
My seamen is still a bit watery but other than that no changes in regards to side effects. I actually even jokingly questioned if I was taking real Propecia since I haven’t had anything (knock on wood).
As for hair, I don’t think I’ve...
You’re not alone. I was hasty as well. I was on Propecia and immediately stopped after 2 weeks when my chest/breast area felt like it was on fire.
It subsided after a week or two and I tried Propecia again at a lower dose (then went back up to 1mg a month later). I never had problems again. I...
I take mine at night, usually around 8 or 9.
I haven’t had much of a shed. I have hairs fall out but it’s only a few here and there, nothing crazy. Not enough to make me consider it a shed and more so just hairs falling out.
I was just as nervous when it came to taking Propecia as well. I’ve been on it for 2 months now and honestly I feel more or less the same.
I am still terrified of knowing some of the risks but knowing my self esteem took such a hit that my girlfriend even recently broke up with me because of...
Hey,
I am roughly 2 months in. The first month I started at .5mg and then the second month I went up to 1mg.
The first time I took Propecia for about 2 weeks at 1mg and my chest had a burning sensation so I backed off for about 2 weeks till my chest felt better.
I then restarted at .5mg...
Hey,
Roughly 2 months in, so far so good!
I haven’t really had any major problems. I noticed my seamen is a bit watery/clear but that’s about it.
I tried to get a closer picture of my head this time.
I only do the basic three.
1mg of Propecia daily
Nizoral shampoo once a week
Rogaine foam...
