Had this type of hair loss for years now. Doctor said it's Telogen Effluvium. (I've been very iron deficient, ferritin = 17). This is Telogen Effluvium right? Should I hop on minoxidil? What is the course of action for me? P.S. my iron deficiency is being treated.

Hi , wouldnt male pattern baldness be odd due to my age? Also my hairline doesn't receed. From what I think I know is that Telogen Effluvium affects the whole of the scalp , and i have some thinning in non male pattern baldness areas - if male pattern baldness is what you're referring to.

I would say that i was shredding 80-150 hairs a day (at the worst).The shedding had stopped maybe around 1.5 months ago, I sometimes aggressively run my hand through my hair do see if there is any breakage and there is none but I've seen around 7 hairs in the shower today. I have some pictures...
