I think the odds of sexual side effects seem a lot higher than 1%. I was on finasteride for a few months 15 years ago and I still have mild ED problems. For me, I'd rather be able to have sex than have hair and no sex. Either choice is depressing, but nothing is worse than not being able to get it up.

I went to a scam artist hair loss specialist who sold DHT-suppressing saw palmetto pills. Not sure if they helped my hair but they quickly ruined my sex life. It took 6 weeks to get back to normal after I quit them. It's a cruel joke that products which help your hair hurt your erections.
