250 dollars to give you a 15 dollar hair cut? eeek.
By cut in do you glue the unit to your head and then go to the salon and they cut your hair for you?
Sure, I mean it's slightly different to cutting a normal head of hair but 250 sounds insane for what accounts to a standard mens hair cut...
You could try wearing a silk headband, under the guise of saying it is a sweat band. That way the straps/device are all on top of the silk and not rubbing -

Yeah, it looks like an attempt at baby hairs although a huge strip of it shows a lack of hairdressing skill. You can either go back to them and complain or simply cut your losses and fix it yourself.
You could get a razor blade You can get a small pack of safety razors from Amazon for next to...
I agree with Mambovipi about that vendor. Never used him but watched all his vids and he seems like a great guy. I've only ever read good things about him so he is deffo worth a try matey and you don't even need to go visit him as he can do everything via video calls and post.
Check out his...
Hey mate,
Can't say much about that company but I did use them. It's just a franchise thing, but the salon I went to was good. I went to the one below in Leamington Spa. Paula, the lady who runs the salon was really nice. And the guy who cut my hair was lovely and did a really great job...
Yeah, the salons reasoning behind the black base is dubious. 'strong' glue, why on earth would that = black?
They must have noticed how black it is during install, which makes me think their motives are suspect. Is it a proper frontal unit? or have they perhaps just tried to make extra cash...
Yeah, they are indeed. However, if you use a heat protect spray and just have it on low then any damage should be mitigated/minimal. In an ideal world no-one would ever use hair dryer/straighteners etc but many styles are impossible without them.
I'm not sure what kind of style you have, but...
Mine is about 3 inches, Gigitty, but as long as it has been blowdried into shape it's pretty bullet proof and never moves. I don't use any styling products, other than leave in conditioner/oils and a hair dryer. Once I blow dry it into shape then the next day I simply squirt a little water on...
Hey matey,
just remember -
Anything new is a shock and looks weird. Give it a few days and look in the mirror and many times a day as you can, just to desensitize you.
Styling is everything. if you think it looks odd in style 1 then try style 2 or 3 or even 4. Just play around with it...
Do you mean this line? That won't be visible with dry hair will it? Surely any unit will be visible with dark wet hair and low density?
Perhaps your hair isn't wet and you are using gel to style it? If so, cut back on the gel and style using something else.
Good luck!
It really varies brand to brand but mousse is likely to be the least oily. My go to is always the one below, great results, really cheap, easy to apply and streak free...
No worries at all and no unit will ever be visible from the side/back as long as it is placed correctly and the fake/bio hair is blended. As for hold, can't say as I got my first unit about 3 weeks ago and this second unit I have only had a week.
Looks like it, the product page says -
"One application effectively reverses fading and corrects unwanted red, orange and gold tones.
Use on:
- Hair units
- Wigs
- Extensions
- Weaves
- AND your own naturally growing hair to control your grey"
My first unit was a .8 poly and although I only had it for a week before my second one came (see below) this new one deffo feels far cooler, comfier and much more durable. Mind you, it is mono and not the lace you are thinking about and the back section feels more like galvanized rubber ha ha...
In the UK B2N may be a bit trickier to get hold of so might be worth trying a cheaper alternative first. Something like this, it's not as good as B2N but it should be enough to get rid of the red tinge -...
