Ok everybody I've been gone since december for military training and I was not allowed to take propecia during that time....so for 5 months after being on it for almost a year and a half, no propecia. I didn't notice much change until I saw my whole head by using multiple mirrors....I have...
No it's prescription Propecia I just write "finasteride" because it's shorter to write, and I said I get it from CVS so I won't get asked if I'm getting it from online pharmacies or a real pharmacy. The first thing most people ask when responding to these type posts is to ask where they got it from...
I've been on it almost a year and I've had no sides at all. Most who do experience sides only have them the first couple weeks then they stop. Permanent sides are NOT as common as those websites and forums lead you to believe. Don't worry about it and just take it. It will be the best treatment...
David007 thanks for the support, and HT55 I am not on generic finasteride. I'm on propecia. It's just shorter to write "finasteride", but you have given me the idea of getting generic and cutting it up. Whats the generic brand called? Proscar? Thanks again guys!
11th months on prescription finasteride(CVS) and I'm still shedding like usual, I have had no side effects, and I keep getting easy pulls at the hairline. I hate to say it but I just don't think this stuff is working for me.
At first when I noticed no side effects I was happy then I started to think...
When I first started taking it I felt like i was going to respond well because it seems like it had stopped my shedding within the first couple weeks. Since then however I been shedding off and on but farely consistent. Now it seems like I'm shedding even more. I'm almost on month 9 shouldn't I...
I'm not looking into him to use his services. I just saw his ad and was curious about his work. I don't know much about hair transplants so I figured this board could point out his shortcomings if any.

His services can be pricy but claims the majority of his clients are in the 3,000-6,000 dollar range. Apparently he is able to cut cost by using lasers to make the incisions and this speeds things up but I'm farely certain most hair transplant docs use lasers now and their prices...
I would freaking love to just cut off all my hair. It would feel like a big eff you to my hair which has been tormenting me for the past 4 years. Unfortunatly I in the same boat as the guy above me. I too have an odd shaped head.
I was very good looking. I was what women called "pretty". I was no macho looking man er nuthin, but I had model looks. Long eyelashes, high cheek bones, tan, and very fit. I was actually thinking of pursuing an acting career. I am now not so good looking. I'm not horrible looking but now I'm a...
you can not take it during basic, and depending on your MOS you may be able to take it during AIT. The military has no problem with propecia as long as you have a prescription though they look at it as an unnecessary prescription. I can tell you right now though that if your looking at 11B...
I have asked this before with no real answers. I'm almost at six months on prescription Propecia and no real noticable results. I'm at a point in my hairloss that isn't that bad. I just want to stop the hairloss until I can get an hair transplant. I haven't even noticed a reduction in shedding yet.
Though...
I know that 6 months is the norm but I wanna know if there are any out there that saw absolutely nothing and were skeptical until 6 months? Anybody?
Thanks!!
You guys just started living together, so you really don't know what the "norm" is with her shedding. Also women have long hair, so even a few hairs looks like alot, her period can be affected by anything from stress, birth control, change in diet, to excercise. And her darker body hair could be...
