There is a huge difference between getting laid and getting laid with someone you are incredibly attracted to.

If he shaved, was not obese and didn´t have the beard and the professor glassses, then he would look way younger. There are many factors that contributes to his old look. A full head of hair would still make him look old, if the other traits were intact.
