Glad you finally got on finasteride and min. I see definite improvement with density.
You may not see much more re-growth but you'll stop/delay further hair loss for a loooooong time most likely.
Thank you!
Thanks! Yeah I try to come back and give updates to show treatments do work, some just respond better of course and it it depends on when you started.
I'm almost 34.
Here's my hair before any treatments at 20 IIRC.
Hi guys!
Thought I'd update, I'm at almost 13 years now on 1mg propecia and minoxidil daily. I've been on oral minoxidil for the last year, I take 2.5mg. No side effects from oral minoxidil except tachycardia above 2.5mg so I don't go above that dose. My hair continues to thin but very slowly. My thin...
Thanks dude!
Nah, It would of been cool if I responded to it positively but oh well.
Hey man, only advice would be continue with 1mg finasteride without missing a dose and use rogaine twice a day altho once a day would probably be sufficient to get max benefit (make sure it's on your scalp for at...
Hey guys, haven't updated in a very long time. I'm coming up on 9 years on 1mg propecia and 1x a day rogaine as I'm about to turn 30. Hair is as expected continues to slowing diffuse, hairline being the most obvious but technically still an NW2. Pretty good considering I started to losing it in...
I agree but you're not implying I'm those things correct because unlike many, I have no problem with my current state of hair (well of course I wish I had perfect hair forever! haha). While you see guys with thick, nearly perfect hair getting hair transplant's to bring their hairline forward from NW1.5 to...
LOL are you balding? Because if you are you'd know only you know the real state of your hair loss since y'know, it's your own ****ing scalp that you look at on daily basis. I appreciate the positivity don't get me wrong but photos can be deceptive which is why I posted one flash where you can...
Thanks bro but I really have lost a ton of hair from my peak re-growth. Here are pics from around 12 months after I started meds so I'm around 22 year old, four years ago. You can see how stronger my density is all over and how thick the front is, my forelock is decently strong and you can't see...
5 years have passed since starting treatments (finasteride/rogaine) at 21 years old. 7 years have passed since I stared balding rapidly in a NW6 diffuse pattern in which I lost about 50% of my hair on top in just 2 years. I'm damn lucky to still have the appearance of a full head of hair despite...
Dude you're a ****ing moron. Do you even think before you respond to someone's comment or even read their post? Nothing in my posts indicate I think that or implied anything of the sort. Attach a psych or bettter yet neuropsych eval that states you don't have a developmental disorder or...
I don't think I've ever had an issue with you on this forum, at least back when I regularly posted so why the sarcastic remark? The important yeas in life for me are usually up until middle age when youth, dating, career, etc. is all in the beginning stages. Of course I'd want all my hair my...
It depends. Most guys, even if they have a full head of hair all their lives, lose hair when they get beyond middle age. Senile alopecia (if this is actually an extremely mild variant of male pattern baldness when it starts is another conversation) as they call it and it affects side and top hair too in most men...
A lot of people did, me included but I say start with finasteride only and give it 6-12 months. Your hair should stabilize with perhaps a little re-growth then add minoxidil if you want more thickness.
