My normal dry hair looks fine. It’s just went it gets greasy / wet it looks horrendous. Maybe I should see a derm for some advise ?

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. Why would you start with oral dutasteride? Will this have much of an effect on my hair? Also what is ED? I’m getting to the stage now where I feel it would be easier to just pop a pill everyday and see how it goes?

I’ll check it out, my hairdressers thinks I’ve got a double crown as my hair goes in different directions . I don’t think this helps the thinning at all

Thanks for the reply. Do you think finasteride will benefit me much at this stage? Is it worth holding out abit longer and seeing how it progresses . I have some threads on here from 5 years ago and my hair is pretty much the same.

No receding in the hairline. I always put the crown down to a cowlick but I’m probably thinking finasteride is the best option now

Cheers for the reply . I hope you’re right to be honest. I first posted pictures on here about 2 years ago and can’t work out if it has gotten worse. Just whenever I see that much scalp it freaks me out

Thanks mate. It’s the line the goes down the middle and shows a lot of scalp that worries me . It is also very itchy! How the side effects on finasteride for you?

Hi, wondered if anyone could tell me how much worse my hair has deteriorated in the last couple of years. I’m really starting to worry about it again. I took finasteride for a couple of months and then stopped. Really thinking about taking it up again!
