Same here, I've needled for the same amount of time (plus minoxidil). Changed the protocol to mild needling daily while keeping intense needling biweekly.
It did nothing. Perhaps my hairline mildly improved, but nothing on my crown.
This is sad, and honestly, needling isn't worth the hype it...
HI Tao, yes I get your confusion, but you can also consult the scientific consensus elsewhere. Look it up and you'll see that there's no formal evidence for natural oils other than random guys vaguely saying "well, it worked for me". Ask them (the guys suggesting oils) for before/after pictures...
I don't mean to confuse you, but please do not listen to the above advice. Everything he mentioned to treat hairloss is either not supported at all or its hair maintaining/regrowing effect is negligible.
If I were you, I'd go for the scientifically proven stuff: finasteride and minoxidil.
If...
I am still doing this daily. I have mild results (vellus hairs) in my hairline and my midscalp seems to be thicker, but I see zero results in my crown, which is my worst area.
I've been needling for more than a year (weekly, just 6 months daily) and sadly I am not satisfied. But I will go on...
Every decent and well known peer reviewed article should be able to be detected be Google scholar. If you can't find it that way, then it was probably an obscure piece of information that hasn't been formally published and is therefore unreliable. That is what your "far deeper" actually means...
I also ask because I have thoroughly looked for needling research papers regarding hair loss since a year, and I usually do this every month to see if something new have been published regarding this issue. I think I have read almost all the available papers (which aren't that much anyways, no...
So, are you going to continue to needle daily indefinitely? I do really wanna know what happens to long-term needlers.
If eventually, there is slight progress, it would be great to see if such progress keeps stacking over time to get cosmetic improvement over time of if it just plateaus at...
Do you have any super close up pics like the ones you posted almost 7 months ago? Those would be nice to better assess progress.
I can see some progress in the pics you just posted but lighting and angle might mislead conclusions, so a Pic with a magnifying glass would be great
I am shocked. Last year you were openly claiming that despite what the Dhurat studies showed, microneedling was a mostly ineffective treatment, that only a minority would respond significantly to it, and that people having expectations were utterly dumb.
Now you seem to make claims based on the...
I believe it's because very few people have actually replicated the results of those studies. Sure, there are a lot of regrowth cases here, but most of those are also minoxidil starters so they are not isolating needling'a effect. Those who tried needling that were already on minoxidil for years...
I once made a thread in this forum looking for advices regarding a transplant for my crown. In most of the replies they said that the pattern of my bald spot, in which there is still a lot of thick hair, is not suitable for a transplant because that nearly surrounding thick hair might end up...
