    Major Flaking with Minoxidil

the nizoral will start working soon. i originally started using it for that same reason (alot of the flakes are dried minoxidil so keep that in mind) ...it eventually made the dryness and itching go away and kept the flakes at a minimum so they were easy to conceal. i went off it for a while...

    Ex/Current minoxidil liquid users

it makes you look pretty greasy... i apply it up to the hairline and since i really have no choice but to put it on an hour or two before work, i have to worry about it half the day which sucks. ...though the greasiness isn't really that a big deal to me. i'd love it if that were all it did...

    The result of MSM.

I'm very skeptical about it's benefit for hairloss. I've been on minoxidil for over a year now so it is very apparent how that affects my hair. About 4 or 5 months ago I began taking a multi-vitamin with biotin, msm, vitamin c...basically everything for skin & hair. It has not thickened my hair...

    ROGAINE Foam is EXCELLENT!

no i'm not new to hairloss treatment. as i stated if you had quoted the entire first sentence, i bought the foam because everyone said that it offered that specific improvement over the liquid. ...which it did not. i've gotten better at getting a good enough treatment rubbed into my head...

    ROGAINE Foam is EXCELLENT!

i have mixed feelings about the foam so far....i got it 'cause everyone says you don't have to deal with the four hours of having it on your head....so i get it and open the booklet and it says you can't wash your hair for four hours after applying!! WTF??? if you have any hair on your head...

    saw palmetto

i stopped minoxidil a while back and got back on...the effects this time have been much better as i have begun taking saw palmetto (450mg tablets) & biotin and drinking white tea every day. can't really say which has helped so much, but i'm sticking with my regimen as is. anyways, i've noticed...

Effectiveness of Rogaine Foam compared to normal minoxidil?

calm down guys, or you're gonna lose more hair.

    I've stopped Rogaine because...

i've been on & off minoxidil and let me tell you, it works on a 4-month delay, EXACTLY....there's no signs of it working 2 months in. up until four months of using it i was still shedding heavily, on and off for weeks at a time as i always was prior...after that 4-month period and for the next 6...

    All vitamins are lies

I'd rather be the receded intelligent guy who questions things and has a well-rounded understanding of the world rather than one of the big dumb mammoths that has to spend 30-40% of their day cramming their face with food.

    All vitamins are lies

My sister said her hair was getting thin from alot of color treating and Biotin has made it thicker & grow faster. Is that the same result you're getting?

    minoxidil pill?

....and yes you will grow hair in strange places, not necessarily where you want. that's why they came up with the topical solution.

    2 questions regarding minoxidil

yeah, definitely cover your entire problem area. i was applying just to the hairline for a while until i noticed thinning behind it. at about the same time i had noticed my eyebrows extending outward and nearly connecting with my hair on the sides of my head....and i certainly never applied...
