Got something called Finastopic which is a topical Finasteride. It turns out though that the Finastopic itself is base liquid and I have to mix my own Finasteride into it. Got this description with it:
The question is how many 1 mg of Propecia tablets should be 0.60 g Finasteride?
Also bought the Finastopic because normal finasteride isn't working for me.
From the description, it says I have to mix the finasteride myself:
The question is how many 1 mg Propecia tables do I need to make the 1.0% solution?
Thank you for the informative answer! I'll note them down.
Do you also have an idea what do those lines mean:
Exipient inert qb
N°_____________Confection___________ml
As it looks like the doctor has to write something there?
Regards the side effects. I have never had any sides so it is...
If anybody doesn't know, then from the start of the year quite renowned doctors Hasson & Wong released their topical finasteride: https://hassonandwong.com/topical-finasteride-solution-prescription/
There are quite a few studies made on the effectiveness on topical finasteride (can be found from Hasson & Wong...
@Iopu
I know it's a prescription drug but I luckily got mine from eBay.
@yetti
Topical finasteride has been found to be even more effective than taking it orally for reducing DHT in scalp and that's what we are after for - http://www.nature.com/jid/journal/v133/n5/full/jid2013110a.html#P040...
I came across this interesting study: http://www.regrowth.com/remedies/local-application-of-combination-of-minoxidil-and-finesteride/
It clearly shows that combination of minoxidil with topical finasteride and tretinonin are superior to just using minoxidil:
Has anybody tried it yet...
Thank you for the kind words!
The funny thing is that it has lasted already about 3 weeks, How much you think I should wait before considering something else?
I had similar situation, was off finasteride for a week after being on for a year and now I am having quite a shed right now. Anything similar happened to you as well?
Hey there!
Have been on finasteride just a little bit over a year now. My initial balding was quite bad as seen from my journey post - http://www.gourmetstylewellness.com/interact/showthread.php/87569-My-journey-getting-my-curls-back-Big-3
My progress has been really good and I love my hair right right...
Pretty much what was said before. Also it doesn't matter in generic minoxidil if it is Kirkland or Rogaine, they are the same. But if the price doesn't matter they I'd recommend Lipogaine, you can search it up from this forum also.
