OP said he can pluck 2-4 hair, which is normal. His thinner area has always been thinner, so no issue. In fact, I am really curious to see whether he really has hair loss or is simply paranoid. In any case, I wonder what is so unique about the OP that Brain thinks that general population...

One statistic is for sure... 95% of adult male hair loss is due to male pattern baldness. Go figure. Not saying it cant be anything else. If you are worried go see a derm, it is really quite easy to diagnose male pattern baldness, as your hair will be miniaturized, while it shouldnt for Telogen Effluvium and AA.

Taking finasteride when you are on accutane is not a problem. I am currently on both of them myself.

Stick with it. I was shedding as well but now my hair is better abt 4 months into finasteride and 5 weeks into minoxidil

I would think so, since avodart is stronger than finasteride. TBH you are really doing all that you can, not much advice that we can offer you.

Really amazing comb forward but I think it has more to do with the angle and lighting. Yes pls get on finasteride asap. Hopefully it will help u maintain and get some regrowth. I am really curious what do you say to your hair stylist. Hope it doesnt offend you.

Big 3 will be valid for male pattern baldness. How old are you? Your hair loss seems to have advanced quite a bit. Big 3 is good at maintaining, any regrowth is a bonus. Usage is not difficult, finasteride is a pill u take once a day. If you want something cheaper buy proscar and split it into 4 or 5. basically 150 days...

Re: Paul's Story - (26 years old & ready to grab by the horns) Hey your hairloss is quite similar to mine, except I am 2 years younger than you, and have slightly more severe temple loss. I kinda agree with sadscalp. Too bad I am too impatient to wait 12 months before starting minoxidil.
