I want to buy the generic non-foam minoxidil because it's much cheaper, but will it be difficult to apply the drops to the face? I was initially going to use it for my scalp but my hairline is so far receded that I figure i'd have better luck shaving it all and trying to grow a full beard.

I took finasteride for 5 months and was one of the unlucky 1 in 300 to develop pretty bad gyno. I stopped the medication early enough so that I don't need surgery, but I can't risk making it any worse. Am I going to be okay applying minoxidil to my scalp?
