at least you are young and by the time you are 20 you can learn to deal with it. The worst sufferers come from those who had a taste of the good life, then lost it thanks to hair loss. Being one of the most attractive guys was a great feeling, now......

Long time lurker, first time poster... heed me fellow hair loss sufferers.

I'm sick of all these "helpful" posters who tell me how I should feel, what I should and shouldn't think and how much hair loss matters to me. I know my own situation, trust me it is bad enough actually balding without being targeted for attacks on a forum supposed to be understanding. We get it...

Even on my berfday Im reminded.

i notice myself admiring good hairlines all the time now. Low hairline , lush hair is gorgeous. I want to die when I see 30-something men with awesome hairlines that make them look so young and fresh while i look, decrepit, dying and sick.

Most of you guys are pathetic

yes that is it , you feel separated from other people, if not people will MAKE you feel separated... its worse if you have standout features, if you are tall and burly, or short and skinny then you will be attacked for fitting a negative image be it sickness or "evil/a bad person". After I...

No wonder we feel bad when hair follows us everywhere.

I don't want a wig. How is a man in his young years supposed to feel young if he's wearing an old man's appendage? I just want to feel and look young when I am young it's so much to ask for when you are losing your hair...

so you join a forum to say bad things about us to tell us you would never join a forum to say bad things about us....

If only I was NORMAL like everybody else!

We all have our own definitions of the worst situation. I think NW2 or 3 is the worst for all the uncertainty, others think NW7 is the worst for a higher Norwood. I think bald men are partly happy for being stable (only mentally i know on the outside they are struggling to cope) have at look at...

Even on my berfday Im reminded.

I think hair is essential to looking young as you get older. Have a look at all the men who are considered beautiful when they are older... Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Clooney, Paul Walker lot's of NW0s for a bunch of 50 year old men. Take away their hair and they just look like "creepy" typical...

my emotions are constantly changing from "superior" to pity

When I see a young man that has less hair than me i think "suck **** for a moment, I am better than this man" then I feel sorry for him, I wonder what he is thinking, how his life is. Does he worry about hair all the time? Does he care, I often think inside the mind of a fellow hair loss...

the more hair I have the less happy I become

Maybe this is the reason, i see it now. I have two options, I can shave my hair and build muscles, then I am a "skinhead" or I can stay skinny and be a cancer patient There's no win... If I try to keep my hair, I am compensating or trying to hide who I am, people say this is insecurity When...

If only I was NORMAL like everybody else!

It's the same argument as always... You see hair loss is a RELATIVE experience, Jason Stratham doesn't give a ****, compared to Mr. X guy is made an alien with only NW3 hair loss. I'm NW2.5, it hurts my looks bad believe me, when i go out, nearly always in a room i have the worst hair loss...

No wonder we feel bad when hair follows us everywhere.

I looked after myself when I was younger, I still do now. What good is it going to be? I'll look 35 when I'm 26, maybe if I'm lucky all my efforts of looking younger will make me comparable to a chain smoking alcoholic instead of a cancer patient with 10 months to live. I hate how people think...

the more hair I have the less happy I become

I feel happiest in the days after a haircut (i get it cut short), i know my hair doesn't "move", I can jump into the sea with no fears, I come out looking the same in water as not in water. When I go have a shower I barely look into the mirror drying myself, I know what my head looks like, there...

Hair Loss has taken over my life.

Maturity and intellect are not sexy, it's just that different things were valued than beauty for men back then... In our society there is plenty of food and comforts, we don't need men to be "protectors" they can be sex objects like women, so men are valued for their looks more often now.

Even on my berfday Im reminded.

I think in this case there may be a difference for men and women. A man looking too young is not good but for a women it can be... When I was 18 I wanted to look older, even some girls want to look older when they are 16 to go to clubs , to drink. Now that I am older, a bit, I am 24, now I want...
