    Disposable hair transplant

I meant something simpler...even NAIR or laser hair removal, haha. Hence "disposable". The whole idea is to stretch things a few years, and then stop caring all together. Presumably when you're already old and have nothing left to live for.

    Disposable hair transplant

Has anyone ever considered the idea of a disposable hair transplant? Say you have really slow recession, or have a really far-reaching but narrow temple recession that can be covered up with say 100 follicles. Would it be reasonable then, to do the small hair transplant to look great for 5-10 years, and...

    Foam Reaction

Hey guys About 3 months ago I tried using foam on my temples for a little regrowth. It worked great, and I could see visible results... lot more fuzz, and thickening of existing hairs. However, the area where I applied it reacted VERY poorly. SEVERE flaking, constant sores, bleeding, etc...

    hair loss...on sides of head???

Its not real bad or anything, but I'm noticing that the sides of my head, above my ears, have lower density than anywhere else on my head...... its geatest at the back, and the top is good. But wtf? I thought the side-heads were supposed to last forever.. And why is the hair on my right...

male pattern baldness While maintaining thick hair

I'm 21 now, and I've always had a lot of scalp see-through on my vertex ever since I was around 14. Its just that now, it seems more spread-out, and I see a lot of scalp when I part my hair along the top as well. Also, what is the effect of getting haircut w/ people who use thinning...

male pattern baldness While maintaining thick hair

Oh yeah, family history: My dad has GREAT hair. No recession or thinning at all, all black, and he's almost 60! The only thing odd about him, is that he's always had a grey spot right on his vertex where my thinning is.............. it always looked like someone dripped paint on his head...

male pattern baldness While maintaining thick hair

The main thing that I'm confused about, is what my method of hairloss is. If it truely were a DHT issue that propecia or something could cure... would that not thin my hair out first? Each individual strand is still as thick as it ever was... which to me, doesn't sound like a case of DHT...

male pattern baldness While maintaining thick hair

I do have pretty deep temples, but then again I've always did so I don't know if it's just me. I remember kids as early as grade 8 saying "dude you're goin bald!" or "yo dude you have a mini bald spot"... I doubt I actually had male pattern baldness back then, so it *MIGHT* just be the way my hair grows? I...

male pattern baldness While maintaining thick hair

Lol, thanks for the pep talk.. but how many 21 year olds would want what I got :P I played with minoxidil for about 6 months last year.. it messed with my front temples bad; it's all fuzzy and thinner now :( I'm hoping that I didn't use it for too long, and that it'll all grow back. At...

male pattern baldness While maintaining thick hair

Hi If anyone can offer me any advice, I'd really love it.. i'm killing myself over here. All my life I've always had really thick hair, and just naturally assumed that it'd take a while for me to go bald because there was so much diameter to thin out with. Lately I've come to realize...

Thick & strong hair, but still balding??

Is there a non-minoxidil solution??? I was only on it for 6 months, more of a play-around and see what happens type thing. I'm not even sure if I was actually balding to begin with, because I've always had a high hairline, and the stiffness of my hair causes it to stick up, exposing more scalp...

Thick & strong hair, but still balding??

I can't figure this out. I have naturally very thick hair, which feels at least double the thickness of other people... I run my hands through my hair, and it feels like a brush. Now here comes the dillema.. my front hairline has big recessions at the temples, pretty much NW2.5. I've been...

HELP..HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE??WHAT TO DO?

I was just about to make the same post.. I used minoxidil for 6 months, and when it wasn't going anywhere, I stopped. Now my entire front hairline is starting to thin out; its been about 3 months now and I'm not sure if it's getting better or worse. I have a feeling that I would have been...
