1 month and 3 days on finasteride, shedding

Just wondering if it's normal to shed after about a month on finasteride (1.25 mg/day)? I'm shedding like 50 hairs a day and I don't have that much, so my hair is starting to look real shitty now...

most people shed 50-100 hairs a day and don't notice or care because their hair looks good. yours looks shitty because they are not getting replaced. propecia needs time to kick in. even if it does not, you will have more hair than if you were not on it. your hair will probably reach equilibrium in another 4-5 months, and propecia will probably grow back all the hair you lost in the last year or maybe 2, then in two years you will gradually loose hair again.

All the hair I've lost in past year or two? That would be awesome, since it would mean gaining almost all of my lost hair . Thanks for the encouragement, dude.

Hmm, what do you think about adding minoxidil to my regimen this early? I mean, I have yet to see if propecia works for me or not. I've already ordered a 4 month supply of Kirkland minoxidil 5% and dunno if I should start using it just yet.

Sorry dude, I haven't got a decent digital camera. I have a VGA camera on my mobile phone, but I don't have the data cable which I'd need for transferring the pics onto my pc.

ah rite, u shud try lend sum1s camera. pics always help people observe ur situation. ima post sum more pics up soon, but only been on propecia and minoxidil for 1 month and 3 days also.
